How a linocut print is made
Each colour for a print is hand-carved into traditional artists' linoleum. Semi-transparent oil-based ink is rolled onto the raised surface, and each colour is hand-printed using a hand-turned etching press. Due to the handmade nature of my prints, each one is subtly unique.
Illustration and licensing
I create hand-printed linocut artwork and digital linocut-style illustrations for bespoke commissions. My linocut prints of British landscapes and wildlife are also available for licensing, perfect for book covers, greeting cards, homeware, giftware, and commercial interiors.
