The print is inspired by a photo of a footpath that leads from Horton in Riblblesdale and passes through Horton on the way to Pen-y-gent in the Yorkshire Dales.
How it’s made
This is a 4-colour multi-block print which is hand-printed using oil-based inks. I've used the transparency of the oil-based inks to create 2 extra tones. Watch Carving a linocut print: Ribblesdale on YouTube.

Linocut printing is a handmade process with variations in colour and detail. This adds to their individuality by making each print unique.
