The inspiration for this print came from a week of walking and camping at Ullswater in the Lake District. I’m building my confidence in walking in the fells on my own. I sat by Red Tarn, at the base of Helvellyn, watching the hikers walk along Striding Edge. That was way out of my comfort zone. Although not part of my plan, I did eventually pluck up the courage to climb up Swirral Edge. Thank you to everyone I chatted with and who spurred me on that day!
Hand-printed using 4 hand-carved lino blocks and oil-based inks. Available with and without hand-painted hikers. As the hikers are hand painted they will vary to the image.
If none are available, please get in touch to order prints with hikers and I can hand paint them to order.
