An original linocut print of The Sycamore Gap Tree in Northumberland.
Inspiration
The Sycamore Gap tree was one of the most photographed in the country before it was felled. It stood next to Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland, in a U-shaped dip in the landscape. I’ve based the print on a photo taken while I was there a few months before the tree was tragically felled in October 2023.
